I was reading this recent McKinsey article about the lasting impact of Covid on technology and business, and it made me think about all the other areas where Covid has changed things.

In fact, I would consider Covid to have been an accelerant of change in several facets of our lives.

You’ve likely heard about the “great resignation”…

For many, I suspect Covid has prompted them to reevaluate their lives in general, and their work specifically.

With more people now working from home, at least part-time, they’ve reflected on things like their commute to possibly even relocating to another part of town.

Or another part of the country.

I believe Covid has also accelerated some of the priorities in our lives.

Priorities around family, health, and more.

Clearly Covid has devastated many people’s lives.

But beyond that, I think Covid has served as an important catalyst or accelerant for many of you.

It’s accelerated your thinking around the idea “where am I going in my life?”

And I think for lots of folks this has been a long overdue opportunity to reflect and consider the possibilities.

It’s possibilities that make life interesting, isn’t it?

And I think the global pandemic we’ve all lived through over the last couple of years has led to a shift in perspectives about work, about living, and about the role money plays in the entirety of our lives.

How about you?

How has Covid served as an accelerant in your life or your decision making?
